Space Mission Architects announces the development of the SMA-2 small satellite launch vehicle! The SMA-2 will be a three stage vehicle with the first two stages using solid fuel and the third stage using liquid fuel. Payload capacity will exceed the SMA-1.
The SMA-2 is the first in a family of launch vehicles with payloads to LEO ranging from 15kg. to 7,856 kg. in payload capacity to LEO. Launch prices will be as low as $990/kg!
Using breakthrough technology, our solid rocket motors will achieve an Isp greater than 300 at sea level. Using solid fuel keeps the rocket design simple and the costs low. Our third stages utilize non-cryogenic fuel which does not need to be off-loaded in case of a launch delay. All SMA-2 rockets can remain fueled indefinitely on the launch pad.
